Colton Robey began his career in 2011 as an intern at Phillips Energy Partners “PEP”. Upon successfully graduating from Centenary College of Louisiana with degrees in Economics and Business, he was offered a full-time position as an Acquisitions Analyst. Mr. Robey worked with landowners in new basins to expand the company’s on-the-ground efforts.

In 2014, Mr. Robey left Shreveport to join Colvin Capital as a Senior Acquisition Specialist. Mr. Robey was responsible for all of the company’s boots-on-the-ground efforts in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. After many miles traveled, Mr. Robey sought to find a home base and founded a small boutique mineral brokerage, Clearshot Energy. Here he further helped mineral owners achieve the best value for their minerals.

In 2017, he joined his longtime colleagues and friends to found Revere Resources. At Revere Resources, he wore many hats as the SVP of Operations. He primarily led the company’s outbound efforts in the Eagleford and West Texas.

After the successful deployment of their second fund, RR2, three of the founding members of Revere continued their journey together at Catahoula Energy.

Apart from Catahoula Energy, Mr. Robey enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, at his family’s place in San Leon, hunting season in Fredericksburg, and nights cheering on the Astros at Minute Maid Park. He is also an avid cook and amateur pitmaster.  

Justin Teague began his career in 2011 as a financial analyst with Phillips Energy Partners, a mineral acquisition firm funded by EnCap Investments.  Over the course of his nearly 3 years with the company, Mr. Teague served in several different capacities involving financial reporting, investment valuation, and portfolio management responsibilities.

In 2014, Justin took a role at Apollo Global Management where he was part of a team dedicated to sourcing and acquiring large oil and gas royalty assets across the United States.  He was involved in nearly $100 million of transactions during his tenure at the firm.

In 2017, he rejoined longtime colleagues from PEP to found Revere Resources. At Revere, Mr. Teague specialized in property valuation and directing technology initiatives. Mr. Teague currently leads Catahoula’s proprietary technology, underwriting, and new initiatives.

After the successful deployment of their second fund, RR2, three of the founding members of Revere continued their journey together at Catahoula Energy.

When not in the office, you can find him outside on the grill, playing golf, or spending time with his wife and two sons. Mr. Teague graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. in Economics and from Tulane University with a master’s degree in finance.
